Races

Niyama

Dimension of Origin:

Atziluth

* Niyama is not a Race in itself. He is unique. The supreme representative of the the  Lex Regis, the Absolute Law that rules all of Gaea and her Inhabitants, the Final Will.

*

Mission:

'The Voice of Gaea'

*

Characteristics:

Niyama doesn't have a physical body, being able to change appearances at his will. Normally he shows himself as a bent, old man carrying a wooden staff for support,  or as a tall, lean young man. However he always has golden eyes.

*

Gifts:

No one knows exactly their nature or intensity. However, when he gets angry things tend to shake a bit. Still he is not the Law nor can he bend it according to his will. His duty is making sure the Law is upheld. In doing so he's powers have no limits and he can even annihilate an entire Race. In the absence of a Judge Niyama is accusation and final sentence to those who fail to uphold the Law.

Indra or Elohim

Dimension of Origin:

Briah

*

Mission:

'The Creative Spirit of Gaea'

*

Characteristics:

Although they may appear to have physical bodies, their tridimensional manifestation is made of Particles of Creation, the same ones that were in the Origin of the World.

*

History:

In the past Indra were allowed to visit Assiah and share their Creations and Knowledge with the Humans. Due to their fantastic appearance and almost divine powers, the Humans adored them as gods, dedicating altars and temples to them. After the change in the Lex Regis, when all Inter-dimensional Portals were closed and travelling between dimensions was forbidden, the Indra maintained their right to visit Assiah as long as there were Humans who'd worship them. However, like all the others inhabitants of Gaea, they're no longer allowed to interfere with the human evolution, only being able to attend to small requests from those who are still faithful to them.

*

Gifts:

They are many according to the Nature of each Particle of Creation. There are those who are able to control the elements and nature, predict the future, send pests and diseases, start wars, grant luck, heal or even materialize any kind of object. They rule over the cycles of life and death. But contrary to what one would expect from a real God, they aren't omnipotent, omnipresent or omniscient, and their Creations are limited to what Gaea grants them as creative materials. They also can't create new forms of life nor originate Life from nothing. Besides that, they're gifts are limited to their own nature, meaning that one Indra never possess in himself the whole of the Creative power.

Chalam or Onar

Dimension of Origin:

Yetzirah

*

Mission:

'The Dreams of Gaea'

*

Characteristics:

Chalam are completely incorporeal, never assuming material form except in dreams. Besides that, when they appear to others they tend to assume the form of the one standing in front of them. They normally avoid direct contact with others, preferring to limit their actions to the dream world. They're divided in Ra'Onar, responsible for nightmares, and Eu'Onar, responsible for dreams.

*

History:

Once they don't need inter-dimensional portals to travel beyond their dimension, Chalam never completely cut contact with the Human Beings or the others Inhabitants of Gaea. However they stop being allowed to transmit them inspiring dreams, since those could be heavy influences in human's choices. So, regarding the Humans, Chalam can only watch over they dreams and nightmares.

*

Gifts:

They travel from dream to dream and can take any shape they chose as long as it is according to the nature of the dream they're visiting. They can also send messages and give ideas through dreams but can never tell about the dreams they visit to others.

Shamar

Dimension of Origin:

Yetzirah

*

Mission:

'Protectors of the Body of Gaea'

*

Characteristics:

Shamar are also known as the 'Caregiver'. They all have two forms, one animal and one human-like. The animal form they take determines the kind of Caregiver they are - from the Skys, from the Waters, from the Earth, from the Airs, from the Minerals, from the Plants, from the Animals or from the Emptiness.

*

History:

Shamar always had free passage between all dimensions, working in secret in an almost invisible way in order to keep Gaea healthy. They're responsible for the maintenance of the balance that it's in the base of Gaea's health as the Living Being she is. They also tried, for many years, to counter the damage brought upon by the Humans in Assiah but, when the inter-dimensional travels were forbidden they couldn't do it any longer. Even so some still illegally visit Assiah risking being punished by the Lex Regis if they're found out. They know that Assiah is sick and that the imbalance originated by this disease will end up affecting all other dimensions. However they're too few and so the degradation of Gaea keeps growing. As for the other dimensions they're intervention is still permitted, although with many roles and restrictions.

*

Gifts:

They're bodies have the ability to absorb impurity and disease, nullifying them. However this is a process that takes a lot of time and that cannot be repeated immediately. They can also communicate with the elements of nature according to the kind of Caregivers they are and they're able to momentarily create parallel barriers.

Madda

Dimension of Origin:

Ruakh

*

Mission:

'The Rational Mind of Gaea'

*

Characteristics:

The Ruakh are semi-material beings, usually tall and with a slightly grayish skin tone. They are absolutely rational and logical, capable of the most complex networks of thought, but incapable of feeling or processing emotions. They were the ones who established the mathematical rules that underlie the foundations of the material dimension, according to which the Indra formed many Creations.

*

History:

By nature, Ruakh normally stay in their dimension unless they are called with a particular purpose or mission. As such, they were in Assiah at the beginning of the Human Age, when the material dimension was altered and modified to better accommodate the evolving souls of Human Beings. Once they fulfilled their task, they withdrew and did not return. They were also responsible for establishing the physical and spatial laws governing the inter-dimensional portals.

*

Gifts:

They can see the matrix of matter. In their eyes space is made of innumerable threads and they can immediately recognize which threads must be altered so that new forms may come into existence. They are designers and architects of matter.

Merifri or Mal'ak

Dimension of Origin:

Assiah - Yashar

*

Mission:

'Promoters of Human Evolution'

*

Characteristics:

Material Beings, same as Humans and Deiwos. They are usually beautiful and harmonious. They are divided into 4 Hierarchical Castes:

- Iaida: The 'Pure Blood', born from the trees of life. They have wings of white light.

- Iaidon: The Guardians. Those whose mission is to protect the human souls that, upon reaching a certain degree of evolution, choose to remain in Assiah, accepting missions of service - the Gaalgha. They have white feather wings and are created according to necessity: if there is a Gaalgha without Guardian, and there is none that can accompany him, the Lex Regis is in charge of creating a new Iaidon.

The Iaidon accompany the life of a Galghaa from the moment he's until it's end. They then return to Yashar for a period of sleep, and when they wake up, they are again charged with protecting a new Gaalgha.

The Guardians protect the Gaalgha from other non-Human beings, so they can not interfere in the human world, even if their protégés are in danger.

- Gaal: Those who come from Humans who, upon reaching a certain degree of evolution, choose to belong to the Merifri, instead of traveling to other points of evolution. Some have wings, but most do not.

- Micaloz: The incorporeal. Whose existence results from the concentration of good intentions and the positive thoughts of Humans.

*

History:

Merifri, like Deiwos, are the youngest of the Inhabitants of Gaea. Their existence is directly related to the permanence of Human Beings in Gaea, hence they inhabit the same dimension as Humans. Their mission is directly linked to Humans and not to Gaea itself, so their contact with Humans is allowed, as long as regular Humans remain unaware of their existence.
Gaalgha are the exception. Sometimes, under certain circumstances, it is necessary for a Guardian to make himself known to the Gaalgha he protects, and such contact is permitted by Lex Regis, as long as the Guardians do not interfere directly with the lives of Humans.

*

Gifts:

Magic capable of controlling matter. Merifri can never take, can only give, be it life or death. They can heal, erect protective barriers, and use the energy of the material dimension, which they control and release, once rearranged according to their will. They are also able to see the glow of Human Souls.

Humans

Dimension of Origin:

Assiah - Adamah

*

Mission:

'Visitors of Gaea'

*

Characteristics:

Material beings with immortal souls in constant evolution. Unlike other inhabitants of Gaea, Humans are not natives of this Planet. Their Souls come to Gaea, from other points of evolution, incarnate in material bodies to learn and evolve, and when they reach a certain stage of evolution, leave Gaea towards other evolutionary points. They are also the only ones who have Free Will (freedom of choice) and aren't bound by the Lex Regis.

However, there are some Humans (few) who never leave Gaea again. Some because, once reached a certain evolutionary level, choose to remain with the Merifri (Gaal), others because their Souls fall into darkness, turning them into Deiwos (Se'irim).

The Humans who, after attaining a certain stage of evolution reincarnate in Assiah accepting missions of service towards the rest of humanity are called Gaalgha. A Iaidon (Guardian) is assigned to protect them and accompany them until the death of their material bodies.

*

History:

With the exception of the Lex Regis no one knows for certain why Gaea was chosen as a point of evolution for these immortal souls. It is only known that Gaea accepted the presence of the Humans, welcoming them into her most important, noblest dimension - Assiah.

Protected by the Lex Regis since the beginning of human time, this is a race that has been continuously evolving, expanding and occupying the land that Gaea has made available to them, exhausting her resources and polluting her seas, lands and air. If there was a time when humans feared Divine retribution and the Sacred Magic of the Forces of Nature, since the Lex Regis changed beliefs like these have fallen into oblivion, turning into mere fantasies and mythology. The Human Race considers itself sovereign of this planet that doesn't even belong to them and, in its arrogance, judges itself to be the only rational, intelegent Race (and therefore worthy of respect) of the entire planet (some even dare to consider of the whole Universe) .

Presently, with the decline of Adamah due to the careless manner in which Humans treat their own dimension, even knowing the consequences of such a decline will eventually bring negative effects to their own Race, Humans have placed the survival of all of Gaea Races in jeopardy.

*

Gifts:

The greatest and most coveted of all: Free Will.
There are some Humans who have other gifts (such as telepathy, clairvoyance, or empathy), but most of these being are Gaalgha (evolved souls that are prepared to leave Gaea and move on to other evolutionary point.

There are also those who practice Magic, remnants of teachings left from the time when other Gaea Races could interact directly with Humans.

Deiwos

Dimension of Origin:

Assiah - Aven

*

Mission:

'Promoters of Human Involution'

*

Characteristics:

Material Beings, like the Humans and the Merifri. They are usually beautiful and captivating. They are divided into 4 Hierarchical Castes:

- Shedim: The 'Pure Blood', formerly born of the trees of life. Then, because the Shedim broke Lex Regis and began to reproduce, which was not allowed, the Law punished them and the trees withered. Now the Shedim are also known as 'the sin of sinners', and are born as Humans. However, because it is assumed that the decision behind the birth of a child is up to the mother, females are always punished and never survive childbirth, which made them rare and very valuable. They have black wings.

- Mazzikin: Those who come from the Merifri who broke the Law, staining their hands and Soul with the blood of Humans and / or their Brethren. Many of them were once Guardians who, unable to stay aloof from the problems and human lives of the Gaalgha they protected, interfered in their course and the world around them. Their white wings have become black, and their Souls are doomed to sink into progressive darkness.

- Se'irim: Those who come from corrupted Humans, both by their own desires and ambitions, and by the magic of other Deiwos through Contracts normally Sealed with Shedim or Mazzikin. Their physical form mirrors the darkness that inhabits them, so they are ugly and often distorted. Their personalities are equally black. They are false, and gratuitously violent. Some have wings, but these are equally twisted.

- Ruhim: The Intrigue. Whose existence results from the concentration of bad intentions and negative thoughts of Humans.

*

History:

The Deiwos, like the Merifri, are the youngest of the Inhabitants of Gaea. Their existence is directly related to the permanence of Human beings in Gaea, hence they inhabit the same dimension as Humans. Their mission is directly linked to Humans and not to Gaea itself, so their contact with Humans is allowed, as long as Humans are unaware of its existence.

Those who devote themselves to wandering through the human world, usually Selam Contracts in exchange for Souls or Vital energy. However, they can do so only if they are evoked or if the Human in question is a user of inexperienced Magic, thus opening up space for them to intervene, so these are the only moments in which a Deiwos is allowed to make himself known to a Human. Moreover, manipulating small events and the view that Humans have of the world are limited, in search of moments of depression or weakness that lead them to seek help in more hidden forces.

*

Gifts:

Magic capable of controlling matter. Deiwos can never give, they can only take away, so death at the hands of a Deiwos, is identical to total destruction and, in the case of Humans, end of the eternal existence of their Souls. Some can heal themselves but can never heal others and, like the Merifri, use the energy of the material dimension, which they control and release, once ordered according to their will. Because of the Old Contract with the Araphel, the Shedim are able to evoke Shadows fighting for them.

Araphel

Dimension of Origin:

Tzel

*

Mission:

'The Shadows of Gaea'

*

Characteristics:

They are semi-material beings, so their bodies are mostly constituted by shadows. Some Araphel, the least evolved of their Breed, are unable to acquire material forms or curb their instincts. The most evolved ones take humanoid forms and live in social clans that are distributed by Territories well defined and insurmountable without the authorization of the respective lord of the Territory.

The Araphel are a race of aggressive nature, proud and impulsive but, over time and for the sake of their own subsistence, they have been developing individual control techniques, adopting severe mental discipline and creating their own laws which are followed under pain of total annihilation for those who dare to break them.

Although they are basically shadows, all the Araphel keep within them a luminous point that feeds their own dark nature. However, in their males, much more aggressive and somber than females, this point of light tends to diminish and eventually to fade away. When that happens, folly follows and the male is hunted by his companions and eliminated, since it becomes a danger to all those around him. The only way to keep the light that feeds their shadows from being minimally stable is through the encounter with your Hridaya, the female who completes them. No one knows when or how this encounter occurs. Sometimes it never happens. But when it happens, both male and female mates for life, only then can build a family, and even create a new Territory and a new Clan. The end of one's life implies the end of one's life.

*

History:

By nature, Ruakh normally stay in their dimension unless they are called with a particular purpose or mission. As such, they were in Assiah at the beginning of human ages, when the material dimension was altered and modified to better accommodate the evolving souls of the Human Beings. Once they fulfilled their task, they withdrew and did not return. They were also responsible for establishing the physical and spatial laws governing the inter-dimensional portals.

*

Gifts:

There were times when the Araphel were a fierce and bloodthirsty Breed, fighting each other and using human blood (ishar) as a way to increase their strength and magnify their powers. In fact, this was the only form of contact the Araphel had with Humans; a predator-prey relationship.

However, when the Lex Regis changed and inter-dimensional journeys were no longer allowed, the Araphels no longer had access to the ishar that offered them so much power and their wars were slower and slower, extending over many years, depleting resources and lives in the same way. The females, who never participated in the wars, stayed home waiting for their partners to return (which used to happen frequently, between one battle and another) and sometimes they waited for whole lives, ending up perishing without leaving offspring. The Araphel population began to decline, and so the Council of Elders met and banned the war, stating that disputes were to be settled in one-on-one battles rather than in battles involving entire Clans. And so the Araphel entered an era of peace and prosperity.

However, with the decline of Assiah, the main dimension of Gaea, the whole world went into imbalance. Like any living being who is sick, Gaea has chosen to direct all her energies to Assiah, its center, removing them from the external dimensions and, for that reason, are not essential to their subsistence. Tzel was the first of Gaea's dimensions to be abandoned, and his fracture and progressive death led many Araphel to revolt and go underground to Assiah, seeking revenge and a solution to the progressive destruction of his dimension. As expected, Lex Regis was quick to take a stand, condemning the whole Araphel Breed to destruction, as they were putting the Human Breed in danger and in any case already on the verge of extinction. However, an appeal was issued and heard, and Lex Regis reconsidered his decision, granting the remaining Araphel the chance to hunt down and destroy the rebels, thereby sparing the remaining lives of their People.

Ebrah

Dimension of Origin:

Hamas

*

Mission:

'The Fury of Gaea'

*

Characteristics:

Deprived of their own form, they can take many forms. There are those who consider them irrational and purely moved by their destructive nature. However, over time, they have been able to organize and invest in accordance with their objectives.

*

They are despised and feared by the remaining Gaea Races, who watch over them and strive to keep them at bay.

*

History:

Unlike the other races, the Ebrah have long been isolated in their own dimension - Hamas. From the times when they were able to escape their prison, all the dimensions of the world were plunged into chaos and destruction. Some say that when Gaea gets angry with her children, the Ebrah are freed to punish them. Created to destroy, they are the opposite and the negative of all that exists.

Como é lógico não existem relatos de alguém ter visitado a sua dimensão e regressado para relatar a experiência.

*

Gifts:

Annihilation of all life and its expression. They return the surface of Gaea to its original state, as it was in the beginning of time, before the First Existence.

*

Merifri or Mal'ak

Dimension of Origin:

There is not. And if you have ever had anyone remember those times.

*

Mission:

'The Sentinels'

*

Characteristics:

416/5000
The Stáza are a mysterious race that nobody knows for sure where they came from. Each Stáza keeps a Dimensional Portal and its existence is firmly connected to this portal by which the destruction of the portal is equivalent to the destruction of the Stáza that keeps it and vice versa.

416/5000
Lacking a name or any individual existence, the Sentinels simply save their Portal and enforce Lex Regis.

*

History:

It is rare to remember a time when there were no inter-dimensional portals but even these are unaware of the facts that are at the origin of the Stáza, where they came from or why they are doomed to keep the same portal for all eternity. Only Lex Regis knows the secret of its existence.

*

Gifts:

They open passages between two dimensions, allowing or not the inhabitants of these dimensions to cross them. The only dimensions that are not subject to the Stáza Portals are Adamah, Aven and Yashar, since they are sub-dimensions of Assiah, not true dimensions. However, the entry or exit of Assiah to other dimensions is already in the domain of the Stáza.

*
